Lissa & Charlie Donate Their Wedding Present

In the spirit of the charity Charlie Gallagher of The Bumblies and later the Cryin Shames with his lovely wife Lissa chose Merseycats as the venue to present a total of £2,400 to three charities, Derian House, Zoe's Place and Nugent Care. Introduced by MC Lee Curtis, Lissa and Charlie presented the cheques personally to each of the nominated charities.

The money was collected from guests at their wedding in August in lieu of wedding presents. Lissa and Charlie reminded us all of the importance of the musicians work for charity throughout the city. Congratulations to Lissa and Charlie, we wish you a long and happy marriage.
