First Liverpool Beat Show

Friday 11th December 2010 saw the first in a number of Liverpool Beat concerts bringing the MerseyBeat sound back to the dance halls. At the Guild Hall in Formby, three bands Searchin', The Lackies and The Chris Rimmer Band played to a packed house in what turned out to be a sensational night for the boys. Just under 200 people turned up for the first of what looks like to be many shows reliving the times when Friday night was dance night and folks just wanted to dance, have a few drinks and laugh. It was great to see so many young people in the audience who seemed to enjoy the music as much as the oldies.
