Joe "The Blow" Barrow was a well known figure on the Wirral music circuit, particularly around Wallasey. He was known as a blues harmonica player. He sadly passed on the 20th April, 2012 after a short illness. Joe was as regular in the music pubs around the Wirral. He recently played with Smokestack 6, a blues band but was always happy to join in with a jam whenever the opportunity arose. Joe was well thought of by all and will be sadly missed.

His funeral took place at the Landican Cemetary in Wallasey on the 1st May, 2012.
