Welcome to the Liverpool Beat Forum, like the rest of the site (http://www.liverpoolbeat.com) our forum is designed to help keep the music of the golden eras of the 50s to the 70s alive for those that were there and to hopefully enliven it for those that weren't!
We hope the forum can provide a facility for musicians (and fans!) to post messages about the music and the bands and the people that made it.

Arty's Merseypedia (An A to Z of Mersey Beat Bands)
Arty Davies one of the originals from the MerseyBeat boom is one of the great stories of the era and Arty is also one of the great historians of the scene and has compiled his own "Merseypedia" of the bands who played in Liverpool during the sixties. Travel back to see the boys in the bands as they were....You Should Have Been There...We've recompiled Arty's "Merseypedia" in a forum format, as we'd like to extend it. We're looking for new images, new information, even bands that aren't included - The only rule is that the band/musicians should be from Merseyside. This is a work in progress! - 661 Topics
