Welcome to the Liverpool Beat Forum
Welcome to Liverpool Beat, reliving the fabulous sound of the sixties and bringing together all the bands who are still playing. This site is dedicated to MerseyBeat musicians past and present, a site for the bands. This is an altruistic site keeping the music alive in the few short years we have left to see the original heroes of the Mersey Sound in action.

Arty's Merseypedia (An A to Z of Mersey Beat Bands)
Arty Davies one of the originals from the MerseyBeat boom is one of the great stories of the era and Arty is also one of the great historians of the scene and has compiled his own "Merseypedia" of the bands who played in Liverpool during the sixties. Travel back to see the boys in the bands as they were....You Should Have Been There...We've recompiled Arty's "Merseypedia" in a forum format, as we'd like to extend it. We're looking for new images, new information, even bands that aren't included - The only rule is that the band/musicians should be from Merseyside. This is a work in progress!
