Hi Arty,

The Deans were Tommy Flude (Guitar) Eddie Williams (Guitar) Jimmy Humphreys (Guitar) Dell Robinson (Drums). They did not have a bass player when they first started.

You can reach Tommy at tommyflude@hotmail.com for more info.

Cheers,

Dave Mac ~ Rhythm Guitar "The Abstracts"

Hi Arty

This is my first posting having just found this incredible site and newly registered.

The line-up for The Gibsons........

Ted Graham (Vocals)
Mike Kontzle (lead Guitar)
Ray ? (Tenor Sax)
Colin ? (aka Snake in the grass) Drums
Ian Colyer (Bass Guitar)

Without Ted Graham, we toured Scotland backing Freddy Starr (a truly un-believable experience never to be forgotten).

Mike and Ian started the Gibsons on leaving the Black Velvets.

Hi Arty.
My friend, Dave Owens asked me to let you know about the Band Line Up for The Globetrotters when he was with them in 1963. They are Billy Maybury-drummer; Geoffrey Lawlan-rhythm guitar; Stan Ferguson-bass guitar and Dave Owens-lead guitar. Their manager, at that time was Bill Ross. The Globetrotters were formerly known as The Page Boys who played The Cavern on 4/2/1964. Dave Owens has given me a newspaper cutting, presumably from the Birkenhead News, with an article and photo of The Globetrotters and he also has a separate black and white photo of The Globetrotters which I've scanned into my laptop should they be required in the future.
Hope this info has been of some use in your quest, good luck with your Merseypedia.

All the best, Snowbird
